Look up onFor sale is a DIYRE OLA5 optical compressor with the optional vintage output. The OLA5 borrows its compression character from the Urei LA-4 while upgrading the signal patch and adding new features not found in the classic unit. There's a limit mode, sidechain high pass filter, and mix control. The limit mode can be switched between 4:1 and 12:1 (currently set to 12:1) and the vintage output can be bypassed with jumpers on the circuit board.Built by me and used in my rack for a few years, it's in excellent working and physical condition. 1 of 2 for sale. I've enjoyed these on bass, synth, and guitar. I've used two of them on individual stereo sources, but haven't found their tracking to be quite close enough to use on busses. They offer a bit of weight, consistency, and forwardness to whatever runs through them. I have another pair waiting to be soldered, so letting this one go. Thanks for looking.
