What is the point of putting LEDS in the sockets?

Just give me 4 leds in the middle of each section, showing positive/negative voltage from the input.
that would

A: Serve a useful logical function
B: Not be a complete waste of time and solder.
C: Look cooler then a bunch of static invisible orange lights you'll never see anyway.

Otherwise a high quality mult, let down by stupid design choices.

Harsh, for some pretty little lights! ;-)
I just didn't have the patience to solder them on when I built a kit, and have them turned off on the built one I bought.

Enjoy your spare HP, don't rush to fill every last space, this is not like filling sticker books. Resist the urge to 'complete' your rack, its never complete so just relax.

Perhaps, but I have a somewhat weak temperament for glitz over function.

I desoldered the first led in the chain, now my module is less aesthetically challenged.

I only bring it up because in all other ways the quality of the kit is better then many pre-builts i've bought from supposedly A list makers.

Now I just need to figure out how to apply 4 bi-polar leds to the input sockets, and happy days.

X marks the spot ;)
