Voltage-Starved Boombox VCA

Air Conditioner is an analog VCA channel strip built on the gain staging of old boomboxes and cassette multitracks. It runs 2x NJM4558 op-amps (circa 1977), plus a hotter gain stage, OTA CV attenuation, power starving, and an aggressive Lo/Hi EQ. Driven hard, the op-amps round the waveform into a soft, squashy clip: gummy and sagging.

Elder op-amp abuse. Noisy + inelegant... the Air Conditioner is the ultimate form of white goods luxury.
