To all,
I came across a crook on MG. User HetBenIk (now gone) took 900 euros from me and disappeared. This thread is more a warning that here also, people will try to scam you. I feel so dirty and ashamed today. Our world definitely sucks.

Sorry to hear that. This is why I can't recommend paypal goods and services enough. Been scammed twice here, second time I paid by g&s and was able to get all my money back...

Ah I'm really sorry to hear that @sidechain. Communities like this require a lot of trust and it's really sad when someone takes advantage of it like that. Sending you good vibes and good fortune to recover what was taken (and more). All the best to you.

Sorry for your loss.

I recommend posting your experience here:

Hi sidechain,

super strange I bought a MakeNoise Polimaths form HetBenIk

The conversation went on for a while. But in the end, I bought the module from him and, luckily, paid via PayPal. Maybe I can help you with some details. But I only have his email address from PayPal.

Please always pay with PayPal and use buyer protection in the future. I’ve been scammed before in Germany on classifieds sites, too.
Best regards
