8-voice MIDI drum sample player, up to 200 of your own samples in onboard flash

Eight-voice, one-shot drum sample player, played over MIDI from any sequencer. Same board and firmware in two formats: 3U/6HP and 1U/20HP.

• 8 slots on General MIDI drum notes, 16 voices, per-slot choke
• Velocity-sensitive with four response curves, or fixed level
• Per-slot pan and level, from 0dB down to -24dB or off
• Optional hat choke: the closed hi-hat cuts the open one
• Any sample on any slot, auditioned live from the encoder
• Up to 25 kits of 8 sounds, switched live from the encoder
• 8 user presets saved in flash
• MIDI channel and the note of each slot can be changed on the module
• Up to 200 samples, about 80 seconds, stored in onboard flash. No SD card
• Ships with three CC0 kits: 808-style, 909-style and Dust
• Load your own samples with a browser-based loader, nothing to install

No pitch, no envelopes, no filters: each slot plays its sample unchanged.

The first batch is a "launch edition": these units still carry the original PicoDrum name on the panel. Hardware and firmware are identical to later units, only the name has changed.
