Berlin School generative CV/gate step sequencer with OLED and ratcheting
Timewind Pulse is a monophonic CV/Gate sequencer in Eurorack format (8HP), designed and hand-built to capture the sound of classic German "Berlin School" music - Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream. Instead of programming every step by hand, the module can generate hypnotic, diatonically coherent melodic lines that flow without interruption.
What's inside:
- Generative mode - one button and the module builds a brand-new 32-step sequence, walking through the degrees of the selected scale and naturally leaning toward the notes that define its character.
- 10 scales + RANDOM mode - Ionian, Dorian, Phrygian, Lydian, Mixolydian, Aeolian, Locrian, Pentatonic, Harmonic Minor, Byzantine.
- Ratcheting - adjustable probability of the gate firing multiple times on a step, with an adjustable hit-count ceiling and two distinct characters (EVEN/FLAM).
- Transpose & tuning - live diatonic (KEY) and octave (OCT) transposition, precise CV tuning, and a subtle Analog Drift.
- Presets & saving - 10 factory presets plus 20 user-savable slots.
- Inputs/outputs - CV OUT (12-bit, 1V/octave), GATE OUT, CLOCK OUT, CLOCK IN. Four playback directions: Forward, Reverse, Pendulum, Shuffle.
Width: 8HP. Power: standard Eurorack connector (+12V/-12V). Hand-soldered and tested before shipping.
