Verbos Electronics Random SamplingSelling my Verbos Random Sampling, a fantastic source of controlled randomness, evolving modulation, and unpredictable-but-musical movement. It like probably 75% accurate) This module is also a modern homage to the Buchla 200 Series Random Voltage Sources, particularly the Buchla approach to “random uncertainty”: generating related, continuously evolving, and stepped variations that feel organic rather than simply arbitrary. It captures that spirit in a compact Eurorack format while adding its own very playable Verbos workflow.This is much more than a basic random/S&H module. Between its fluctuating and stepped random voltages, noise sources, sample & hold, and multiple ways of shaping probability and movement, it’s incredibly good at introducing subtle variation into a patch — or pushing things completely off the rails when you want it to.One of the coolest features is the analog shift register. You can self-patch it from the module’s own random sources or feed it external voltages, then grab those voltages and move them down the register with each clock. That lets you take a changing voltage and distribute delayed versions of it sequentially around your system — great for creating related-but-shifting modulation, evolving melodic relationships, or sending variations of the same source to several different destinations.There’s a ton of creative territory hiding in that part of the module alone. Monotrail has some excellent videos demonstrating clever uses of the shift register and is well worth checking out if you want to see how deep it can go.It especially shines for mutating sequences, evolving pitch, filter movement, rhythmic variation, and generative patches. Like most Verbos modules, it’s very immediate: no menus, no diving through settings — just patch it, turn a knob, and hear what happens.I’m only selling because I’ve locked into a different approach for generating mutating sequences in my system, and this isn’t getting the use it deserves.Condition is very good, bordering on excellent. Everything works exactly as it should. Includes power cable and Knurlies.
