This JHS Overdrive Preamp is a meticulously crafted replication of the unobtainable V1 DOD 250 pedal, one of the most sought-after overdrive circuits in guitar history. The pedal features simple, intuitive controls: a Level knob that adjusts overall output with increased headroom compared to the original unit, and a Gain control that shapes the amount of overdrive by pushing the op-amp into clipping. A slider switch allows you to toggle between two distinct clipping voicings, adding versatility and exploration to this classic circuit. In very good used condition, this pedal shows minimal wear and is fully functional. The modified level control provides superior volume capability compared to vintage units, making it practical for modern pedalboards while maintaining the authentic character that made the original DOD 250 legendary. Whether you're chasing vintage tones or exploring responsive overdrive textures, this JHS reimagining delivers.
