The Boss M199 Tap Tempo is a high‑quality, rugged external tap tempo footswitch designed to give guitarists and pedalboard users a convenient way to set and control tempo‑based effects without touching the main pedal. It works especially well with Boss delay, modulation, and time‑based pedals that support external tap tempo switching — giving you precise rhythmic control right from your feet.
Built with Boss’s legendary durability, the M199 features a solid metal housing and a responsive footswitch that delivers reliable tempo control even in the most demanding live or rehearsal settings. Its simple plug‑and‑play design makes it easy to integrate into your rig, allowing you to tap in delay times, modulation speeds, and other time‑sync functions without bending down mid‑song.
Whether you’re playing in a band, jamming with backing tracks, or experimenting with rhythmic effects, the M199 helps you stay in the groove with accurate, hands‑free tempo control.
