Look up onUp for sale: a mid-1990s Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, made in Japan by Maxon — the real deal, not a reissue. It works and sounds exactly like a TS9 should. The original chip from this era is still installed and sounding great. I'm also including two brand-new JRC4558D chips — same type as the 1980 original and the chip used in the classic Analog Man mod — so a new owner has the option to have the mod done down the road. If you're not comfortable with a soldering iron on a circuit board, any qualified tech can swap the JRC4558D chip in — just have them hang onto the original chip afterward in case you ever want it back in.Cosmetically it shows some wear — I didn't have a pedalboard when I first got it, so it picked up some scuffs and nicks being carried around loose. Nothing that affects how it plays or sounds. What's included:- Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer (mid-90s, Maxon-made in Japan)- Original Box & Paperwork- Original chip, installed and working- 2 brand-new JRC4558D chips (mod-ready)Condition: Works and sounds great. Cosmetic wear on the enclosure from years without a pedalboard; no functional issues. My playing days are behind me — time for this classic TS9 to go make some noise for someone else.
