Verbs is a convolution reverb from Poly Effects, made in Australia. Instead of reverb algorithms, it uses captures (impulse responses) of real spaces and real vintage reverb hardware. You get 48 presets, and 8 of the slots can be filled with spaces you capture and import yourself.

What's inside
- Pool of the Blackstar: spaces known for unusual acoustics, including the longest reverb in the world, a masonic acoustic lens, and a sound sculpture
- Capricornia Caves: caves and cavernous industrial structures, such as a nuclear reactor hall, a cooling tower, and railway tunnels
- Santa Lucia Basilica: religious buildings, including the nearly 2,000-year-old Pantheon in Rome
- Echo Plates: vintage plate reverbs, including the EMT 140
- Analog Devices: vintage springs and an oil can unit, amp-style and outboard studio gear
- Irregular Verbs: bubbles, rain, and unusual IRs for granular textures
- Adverbs: user/imported IRs (ships with Maeshowe, a neolithic tomb built around 2800 BC)
- The captures also include a Lexicon 480L

Controls and features
- Touch sliders for Onset (pre-delay), Mix, Preset, Low Cut, and Smoosh, with 4,096 steps per slider
- Two footswitches: bypass and preset stepping, plus a hold-for-crescendo function
- Zero-latency, analog dry-through, so your dry signal is never converted
- Stereo in and out (TRS)
- MIDI in/thru (3.5 mm TRS Type A). Presets and all parameters can be controlled over MIDI.
- USB-C for importing your own IRs and for updates
- 9V DC center-negative, 500 mA (no batteries). About 102 x 112 x 60 mm.

Sound and uses: Organic, realistic room, hall, cathedral, cavern, plate, and spring sounds, plus some strange textures. It works well on guitar, synth, or anything you'd put through a studio reverb.

Condition: Like New.
Included: The Verbs pedal pictured.
