Up for sale is my Erica Synths Zen Delay in excellent condition, fully working and barely used. It comes in its original packaging with the original power supply. The Zen Delay is a collaboration between Erica Synths and Ninja Tune, with input from Coldcut's Matt Black and Dr. Walker of Air Liquide. It was the first hardware effects unit ever made together with an electronic music label. It wasn't built as a guitar stompbox. It was designed for DJs and producers, for both live and studio use, and it sounds incredible on drum machines, synths, vocals, loops and even full stereo mixes.It pairs a BPM-synced stereo digital delay with a 24dB analogue multimode filter and a real valve overdrive. Every function has its own big bakelite knob with no menus, so it's made for hands-on dub feedback and wild filter sweeps. The delay time knob is especially sensitive at short settings, so with plenty of feedback you can tune the pitch and play it like an instrument. Push the feedback and resonance far enough and both will self-oscillate, which turns the Zen Delay into a sound source of its own.
