Marshall ED-1 "Edward the Compressor" — a solidly-built analog compressor from Marshall's discontinued effects pedal line, designed to even out dynamics for smooth sustained leads or tight, funky rhythm chunking. Four controls — Emphasis, Volume, Attack, Compression — give you everything from transparent dynamic control to a heavily colored, squished tone, with the Emphasis knob letting you target which frequencies get compressed. Solid metal construction with passive bypass. This example looks essentially unused, with the original box, manual, and all paperwork intact — no visible wear on the chrome knobs or housing.
