Up for sale is an incredibly fun, creative, and lush analog delay: the Ibanez ES2 Echo Shifter. Produced for a brief window in the 2010s, this pedal combines deep, warm bucket-brigade analog delay with modern usability like tap tempo and dedicated modulation toggles. It is famously loved by bands like The War on Drugs and Mogwai for its ability to create expansive soundscapes and controllable pitch-bending chaos. [1, 2, 3]This particular unit is in absolutely mint condition, which is rare for the ES2. The large center fader moves smoothly with zero crackle, and the toggle switches for Modulation and Oscillation click into place cleanly. Both foot-switches (On/Off and Tap Tempo) function perfectly on the first press. [1, 2, 3]Features:Delay Time Slider: Instantly sweep from short slapback (30ms) to long trailing echoes (1000ms) with your hand or foot.Oscillation Toggle: Instantly drives the feedback circuit into wild self-oscillation for classic sci-fi pitch shifts.Modulation Switch: Adds a gorgeous vibrato/chorus flutter to the delay trails.Tap Tempo: Seamlessly sync your delays to the beat on the fly. [1, 2]Note: This listing is for the pedal only.
