Here is a 1977 Maestro Super Fuzz-Tone FZ-1S, a vintage American fuzz pedal from the legendary Fuzz-Tone family.The FZ-1S was an evolution of the original 1960s Maestro designs, featuring a circuit with greater tonal flexibility. It retains that distinctive vintage fuzz character, with aggressive saturation, a raw texture and a personality quite different from modern distortion pedals.This example displays a lovely vintage patina and normal signs of use consistent with its age. No obvious modifications were identified during the visual inspection.It comes with its original box and period electronic schematic, making it a particularly interesting example.
