Look up onIn great shape for one this old, though it has a few minor signs of wear, and includes the original the box which is intact but has plenty of storage wear and a bit of tape on one corner. All original including the often missing red battery sleeve inside. It also sounds amazing. The original original Ross phaser, the R1, was an exact copy of the original Script MXR Phase 90 (as was its follow-up, the R2). Then Ross designed its own version in 1978. The V1.1 version had 4 discreet matched JFETs soldered directly to a socket on the board. Had a very different sound than the R1 and 2 - a stronger, harmonically interesting phase cycle. This particular version, what I call the V1.2, is the same design except Ross used a quad JFET chip in the same socket. Same sound as the V1.1 for sure. Then in 1980 when production of Ross pedals was moved from the US to Taiwan Ross went in a completely different phaser direction, using a trio of dual OTA style opamps to create the phase cycle, much more similar to the EHX Small Stone. It had a decidedly different sound altogether, though also a very nice phaser. These V1's, though, have a sound all their own. And it is rare to find one in such good shape and with the box to boot.
