A/B mode instantly toggles between two effect chains—perfect for switching between rhythm and lead tones with one foot press. A+B/BYPASS mode blends both chains in parallel for layered, composite tones. A/B/BYPASS mode cycles through three states: Chain A → Chain B → Full Bypass. A/B/Out Select mode routes A and B to different outputs for dual-amp setups. Players describe it as the heart of their setup, providing flexible routing options for any performance situation.DUAL EFFECTS LOOPS WITH INDEPENDENT VOLUME CONTROL: Unlike basic ABY pedals, the ORTHROS features two fully independent effects loops—SEND A/RETURN A and SEND B/RETURN B—each with its own dedicated LEVEL control knob. The independent volume controls let you precisely balance the output of each loop, compensating for pedals with different output levels and ensuring seamless transitions between chains. Players describe this feature as essential for maintaining consistent volume when switching between different pedal combinations. Use it to blend a distorted bass chain with a clean dry signal, mix parallel delay and reverb, or run two separate pedalboards into a single amp.FLEXIBLE CONNECTIVITY — GUITAR, BASS & MULTI-AMP SETUPS: The ORTHROS works equally well for guitar and bass, supporting a wide range of signal routing configurations. Use it to switch between two pedal chains into one amp, run two separate amplifiers with independent effects, blend a clean DI signal with a processed effects chain, or route your signal through different pedal combinations for specific songs. One player described it as allowing them to "run 2 amps and 2 effects chains"—a configuration they called a game changer. The pedal passes signal without coloring tone, allowing your effects chains to sound as intended.ROAD-READY JF SERIES DESIGN WITH DUAL POWER OPTIONS: Encased in a rugged metal alloy chassis with a distinctive coffee gold finish, the ORTHROS features a compact footprint that fits neatly on any pedalboard. Bypass switching ensures straightforward signal management when disengaged. Dual power options: use a standard 9V 6F22 battery (not included) for portability, or a 9V DC adapter (center negative, not included) for consistent power. Rated current: 22mA—exceptionally power-efficient for extended battery life. For the quietest performance when running multiple effects chains, use a regulated, isolated 9V power supply and avoid daisy-chaining with high-current digital pedals.
