The M-166 is 6-channel attenuverting mixer.

From the top down:
6x input jack + knob (ch1 – ch6)
output jack + polarity LEDs + out level knob

The M-166 is 6-channel attenuverting mixer. Turning a level knob clockwise adds gain (output is non-inverted or ”positive”); turning a knob counter-clockwise both adds gain and inverts the signal (output is inverted or “negative”). The centered position of an input level knob is zero or “off.” A dedicated output knob sets the final level of the overall mix, with a maximum gain of 2x (+6dB).

Channel 6 is normalled to a DC bias voltage, meaning it can provide a DC level shift (or transposition) when nothing is plugged into jack 6.
The M-166 is DC coupled, meaning it can be used for either audio or CV.
