CV gesture recorder

"Capturing Movement, Replaying Expression"
Kappa is a 4-channel CV gesture recorder and playback module that turns the simple act of turning a knob into expressive, repeatable modulation. Each of the four independent slots captures up to 20 seconds of knob movement and stores it permanently, even through power cycles, ready to play back as a CV signal into any destination in your system.
All four slots play back simultaneously through their own dedicated outputs, letting you layer multiple recorded gestures into complex, evolving automation. Two playback modes, Retrigger and Chopping, let an external clock reshape how your recordings respond: stretching them to match a tempo, or chopping them into rhythmic, resynced fragments. Without a clock, every slot simply loops freely at its own natural pace.
A dedicated Lo-Fi mode degrades the output into stepped, gritty CV for raw, digital character or stepped sequencing textures.
It works with ±12V and has a width of 8HP.
Note: Kappa is not just a CV recorder. Its true power emerges when used as a performance and composition tool, capturing human gesture and turning it into living, repeatable modulation.
