PT2399 delay effect
This is a delay module that uses the PT2399 delay chip, not very original but this is my take on it.
One thing that is fun is that it can control the pitch in the lower half of the range with 1 volt per octave.
It can go to delay speeds of almost 0, meaning when the pitch is too low the chip will almost stop and wake up when you increase the speed again.
At maximum pitch the delay times are very short, because of this it has a bootup sequence to prevent the chip from locking up.
If you have nothing connected to the lower CV input you can use the attenuation pot to offset the lower half of the big pitch knob. This will also make it possible to get the maximum pitch for very short delay times.
In the feedback path the there is a limiter that only activated when the CV of the pitch is negative, this is added to limit the volume of the PT2399 glitchy noise because they tend to be louder then the audio when the signal is clean.
It is also designed to be used with the vu perc, to change the pitch of the vu percs directly. Meaning it can change the pitch of a drum sequence directly in an all wet state, so then the signal you hear will be pitched lo-fi optionally without the input signal to be heard. You can do this by setting the Dry/Wet to maximum Wet, and Feedback to Off. And then modulate the CV input.
