Power-line drone voice
The hum of a power line, played. A switch picks 50 or 60 Hz mains, and that frequency runs everything: the note, the transformer's buzz at twice its rate, and the arcs that crackle on its half-cycles. Flip it and the whole voice moves a minor third.
PITCH walks up the harmonics of the mains over four octaves, settling on each one, and V/OCT transposes the grid. BUZZ is the iron core humming, ARC sets how often the line arcs, and SAG is a brownout: the pitch droops and hunts and the tone dims. Every arc fires FLICKER, a gate out made for a lamp, an envelope or a video module.
