A radio between you and a ghost

A radio between you and a ghost. Everything you play is remembered and filed on the frequency you're tuned to. When you go quiet, something answers: what you played, rebuilt from memory in a whispered voice, a little worse every time it's told. Turn the dial and you're listening to old transmissions.

It keeps a sketch, not a recording, so it holds hours, and they survive power-off. FREQ tunes 100.00 to 199.99, WAIT sets how patient the ghost is (below noon it talks over you), and ROT sets how fast each retelling decays. Patch IN R and it becomes a plain two-way radio for two sources taking turns. The top of the panel is a lit screen: two faces come up out of the light as each side talks.
