Three days of twenty-four hours, at whatever length the set is: a minute, an hour, or so many clocks an hour. Dawns and dusks, nights, a day that steps up an octave each morning, and a clock that runs faster as the end comes. All the while the moon climbs, and when the time runs out, it falls.
