The AM8320 Prophet Filter is a replica of the SCI filter in the Prophet 1 and 5 analog synthesizers, using the original CEM3320 chip.

The AM8320 module is based around the original SCI design but with some additions to improve the setup. It uses a NOS CEM3320 to deliver a 4-pole voltage controlled low pass filter, with a smooth and controlled resonance, using high quality polypropylene filter ladder capacitors. The front panel has rotary pots for Frequency Cutoff (FREQ) and two frequency modulation pots (CV1,CV2) and the all important Resonance pot increases Q until the filter breaks into smooth self oscillation. There are three signal inputs, each with its own level pot.
