Eurorack version of the Lumanoise v3 desktop LDR-controlled synth.
The different Lumanoise models have different oscillator setups but all use the same 12dB/octave resonant LPF. The pitch of the oscillators is controlled by the amount of light received through an LDR; the greater the intensity of light, the higher the pitch. Each oscillator has a separate volume knob. The LPF is a simple discrete transistor design created specifically for the Lumanoise by L.E.P. Labs. The filter cut-off frequency can be light controlled or adjusted using a potentiometer.
Version 3 has two saw oscillators (3-bit bass frequency and 7-bit high frequency) and a white noise generator. Use for drone noise, experimental texture.
The Lumanoise Eurorack versions have the benefit of CV control of filter cut-off and oscillator frequency that is not available with the desktop units.
