Simple EQ* with Swappable Capacitors Other/unknown Eurorack

A troughhole version of Music Thing Modular Simple EQ with modifications

The module is based on Music Thing Modular Simple EQ but it's assembled on a perfboard using through hole components. The first part of the module offers control over treble & bass and it's based on the Baxandall EQ circuit. The C1 (27nf) and C2 (1nf) capacitors (as indicated in the Music Thing Modular schematic) can bypassed using switches and replaced with different values, which can be mounted to female pin headers available from the front. The faceplate has holes for small jars which house custom capacitors that are building using water. The water-based capacitors on this unit use mineral water as the electrolyte and plastic balloons as the dielectrics. The unit has a CV input above the "Tilt EQ" knob which can be used to effect the bass or treble enhancements, to produce a subtle sidechain effect. The CV input uses two vactrols for control.
