manikk 8x Output Buffer is a 2HP module that has 8 input pins on the backside and 8 output jacks on the front.

The module can be used if you have another module that have unbuffered output pins and you would like to buffer these signals, and route them to dedicated jacks on the front.

The signals are buffered by OP-amps without any signal processing. If you put 1V on an input pin, you will get 1V on the associated output jack. If you put -9V on an input pin, you will also get -9V on the output jack. And so on.

The module is based on the Otto Passive Mono Front and has an add-on PCB on the back. The Otto Front have normalizing pins for the 8 jacks, where you can pass-by the input signals if no plug is inserted in the associated jack.

If an input-pin is unused, it must be grounded. This is because an OP should not be left floating on the input. You can for example connect to unused normalizing GND-pins.

The connections on the back (including grounding unused pins) can be made with female-to-female dupont cables (not included).

The eight outputs have a protecting 1k resistor before the jack.

The single row input pins 1 to 8 are at the top of the backside. There is also a 9th pin that is a GND-pin. You can connect this GND-pin to a GND-pin on the other source-module if needed.
