I'm getting the Unrecoverable Boot Error, when running the test, it shows SRAM failure. Module is out of warranty, so I'm considering trying the repair myself. Is there anyone who have successfully fixed this? I'm thinking the SRAM has to be either replaced or reseated.

I contacted ES and the cost to repair was prohibitive. I haven't had the time to try and fix this error as it seems quite complex. What I've found is that the error is more likely to show up if the module is warm. I've since moved it to the edge of the case and, knock on wood, it's been behaving a lot better. I won't be doing anything about this, I think. Since dual mode still works well even though the SRAM error shows up, if the error consistently comes up, I'll just treat the module as a double-disting 4.
