Look up onThis is the Germanium Karma Suture. Catalinbread started from the rare Harmonic Percolator circuit and added its own Density and Diodes controls. A new-old-stock germanium PNP transistor is paired with a silicon NPN, and a germanium diode and a silicon diode clip unevenly for a warm, asymmetrical sound. The Silicon version came later, with more gain and output; this is the original.
Input sets how much guitar signal hits the circuit, from a lively boost turned low to fuzz turned up, and Output sets the volume. Density sets how much bass gets in, from big fuzz all the way up to a tight, treble-boosted sound all the way down. Diodes sets how hard the clipping diodes work; turned down, it opens up and gets louder. It's mostly even-order harmonics, so chords stay clear, and it cleans up with the guitar's volume knob. It goes near the front of the board, with no buffered pedals ahead of it. It takes a 9-volt center-negative supply or a 9-volt battery.
Purple. Excellent condition, shown in the photos. Comes with just the pedal, no box.
Includes: The pedal only, no box
