Look up onThis is the RAT 2 as Pro Co makes it now, the slanted-box version Reverb's catalog dates from 2003 on. The RAT 2s from 1988 to 2002 had a flat box. Pro Co says it works as a main distortion, to push a clean tube amp into overdrive, or as a boost for solos.
Distortion sets the gain and Volume sets the output, so you can match your clean level. Filter is the tone control: Pro Co calls it a high cut, so turning it clockwise rolls off the highs, and turning it down lets the guitar's own brightness through. Switching is true bypass. The input, the output and the power jack, marked 9V-DC, center negative, are on the back end. It runs on a 9-volt adapter or a 9-volt battery behind the door on the bottom, and plugging into the input switches the battery on, so unplug it when you're done.
Black. Excellent condition, shown in the photos. Comes with just the pedal, no box.
Includes: The pedal only, no box
