TVCO-2 Other/unknown Pedals

JMT Synth TVCO-2

This is an analog synthesizer powered by DC 9V to DC 12V or a single 9V battery.

By touching the five sensors directly connected to the oscillator circuit of the analog synthesizer with your fingertips, you can change the rich, distinctive sound of the analog synthesizer's oscillator in various ways.

Because it reacts so sensitively, the tone changes depending on whether you touch it firmly, with a light touch where your finger barely touches the sensor, or whether you touch two, three, or any combination of sensors.

The two sensors at the top are connected to the SUB VCO, which inputs into the MAIN VCO and VCF. Therefore, these sensors can also be used to add touch-sensitive changes to the VCF (filter), allowing for the creation of more complex timbres.

The bottom three sensors are connected to the MAIN VCO circuit. These sensors directly introduce noisy changes to the main output oscillator, and the way they change depends on the combination of touches, such as touching them simultaneously with the SUB VCO.

With its simple structure of 2 VCOs and 1 VCF (switchable between bandpass and lowpass), this device allows you to intuitively create your own unique sound.

The main VCO and VCF have CV IN inputs. By attaching a 3.5mm adapter jack, you can connect them to the CV OUT of a sequencer, analog synth, or modular synth, allowing for a wider range of expressive possibilities.

This device allows for more intuitive control because you can instantly make subtle changes with your fingertips, unlike cable patches or switches.
