Well .. I think this is a great idea. I've always wanted to combine some of the crazy stuff you can do in computers with the crazy stuff you can do in modular in a place outside of an actual laptop, which isn't the most inspiring format and I find endless interfaces and controllers annoying too. At least in this format you could potentially build a little computer case with controllers, I/O's etc. I'd always used HD recorders, but then you don't quite get the modern editing capabilities which is always nice. I'll be looking to get one of these at some point once I've planned exactly how as I'm changing a few things in the studio and euro cases around. I'll be in touch
