Gif-looping video synthesizer

A gif looper that plays like an instrument. The gifs live on a USB stick, a folder per bank. GIF picks one at 1 V/oct, a semitone each, and FRAME picks the frame.

Twenty-four knobs in four lanes bend time, colour and space: loop length, direction, speed and scrub; palette, hue, glow, dither and solarise; feedback, melt, warp, mirror, kaleidoscope and spin. A real motion-vector datamosh tears the picture apart, FLUSH heals it, and HOLD freezes it while the engine keeps running.
